I kind of hate to say this, but I just got a computer running Windows Vista and my experience with it has been really nice. It looks great, has a nice functional organization, and has good safety procedures built in.
And 2007 Office is just brilliant; the interface is beautiful and fun to use.
To add to the sacrilege, I don't like Apple computers. They don't play (the few) video games (you can manage get for them) nearly as well, the lack of a right mouse button is supremely annoying, the interface is uglier and less intuitive than XP and Vista, and the bells and whistles are distracting.
I did use Macs for about a decade (and Linux for about a year too) and I haven't looked back since converting over. I realize that Macs have less viruses. But this is because programming for a Mac is so much more tedious and difficult, which is hardly a point in its favor. In addition, isn't the point just that computer illiterates are less likely to screw up with a Mac? Why is that supposed to be a point in its favor for me?
Finally, I'm creeped out by the religious fervor that Mac users have for their brand. We Presbyterians don't tend to go for that kind of enthusiasm. It makes us uncomfortable.
